Comprising three 75-minute CDs and a 48-page booklet, the German Conversation course is centred around 20 realistic dialogues covering the situations you are most likely to find yourself in while on holiday or on business abroad. The first two CDs contain the language you need to speak and understand, without getting bogged down with grammar. The third CD, uniquely, teaches skills for listening, so that you will be able to hold two-way conversations with people who speak very fast or use words and phrases you do not know.
In addition to the three CDs, the accompanying 48-page booklet provides the dialogues and the translations of the dialogues, for those who like to see the written word or want additional practice. The booklet also provides a basic glossary of the words and phrases used.
You can use the German Conversation course on its own or as an accompaniment to both the Instant German course and the Schau ins Land Study Supplement.
