About Us

Champs-Elysées Incorporated are publishers of critically-acclaimed audio magazines for intermediate-to-advanced speakers of French, Spanish, German, and Italian. The company was founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1983 and published its first ever audio magazine in 1984 with the launch of Champs-Elysées (for French learners).  This was quickly followed by the launch of Schau ins Land (for German learners), Puerta del Sol  (for Spanish learners) and Acquerello italiano (for Italian learners). Each audio magazine is put together by a dedicated team of broadcasters and journalists based in Europe and, in the case of our Spanish program, also in Latin America.

In 1992 Champs-Elysées Incorporated set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, Champs-Elysées Ltd (UK) to service the anglophone market in the UK and the rest of the world (outside North America). The UK office is based in Bristol, in the west of England.

All of Champs-Elysées’s audio magazines are sold by mail-order subscription and online from this website. Except for a few specialist retailers, the products are not available in the shops.
